About the Program

These fully interactive, hands-on training sessions will give you all the tools you need to be an effective, ethical, certified* mediator in Circuit, and Family Court in South Carolina. Moreover, under the South Carolina Supreme Court’s new Probate Court Pilot Mediation program, practitioners may qualify for appointment in Probate mediation cases by being certified as either a civil or family court mediator.

Trainers Cotton Harness, Harry Goodheart and Mary Bryan have more than sixty years combined experience as practicing attorneys and have mediated thousands of civil, family and probate cases. They have trained mediators all over the southeast and are the most dynamic and experienced mediation trainers in South Carolina.

Mandatory MCLE Credit Hours & Legal Ethics & Responsibility (LEPR) Credit Hours
40 MCLE credit hours, including up to 3.25 LEPR credit hours.
