Solo and Small Firm Section

Last year's SSF Conference in Charleston was a big hit. And this year...we're on the move again! Please join us on Friday, September 19, 2014, at the Hyatt Regency in Greenville, SC for the 2014 Solo & Small Firm Conference - the ONLY conference in South Carolina designed especially for the solo and small firm lawyer!

The Council of the Solo & Small Firm Section seeks nominations for the Solo & Small Firm Section Award. The award honors a sole practitioner, small law firm (10 or fewer attorneys) or single lawyer in a small firm that has demonstrated service to the community or fellow lawyers. The inaugural award will be presented at the 2014 Solo & Small Firm Conference. Nominees must be licensed in South Carolina and be members of the S.C. Bar in good standing. If you would like to self-nominate or nominate another attorney who is deserving of this honor, complete this form.

Our Section seeks to enhance the competence and skills of lawyers engaged in solo or small firm practice and promote the interests and ideals of small firm lawyers in all Bar activities. The Section provides a forum through which solo and small firm practitioners may encourage and assist each other in resolving problems common to them and the legal profession. Activities include participation and membership in the Section's listserv, networking events, and promoting small firm-focused continuing legal education.
