S.C. Bar offers free legal clinics in Spartanburg area

COLUMBIA, S.C. (April 23, 2012) — The S.C. Bar Pro Bono Program will sponsor four free legal clinics in the Spartanburg area in May. The schedule is as follows:
 
·May 7 – Magistrate court issues, featuring the Hon. James B. Paslay. The clinic will be held from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Pacolet Branch Library located at 390 W. Main St. in Pacolet.
 
·May 10 – Workers’ compensation issues (injuries and illness in the workplace), featuring attorney Jeremy A. Dantin. The clinic will be held from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Spartanburg County Public Library-Main Branch located at 151 S. Church St. in Spartanburg.

·May 22 – Criminal law issues, featuring attorney Michael D. Brown. The clinic will be held from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Westside Branch Library located at 528 Oak Grove Rd. in Spartanburg.

·May 24 – Tort law (personal injury, auto accidents, malpractice and property damage), featuring attorney Kenneth C. Anthony Jr. The clinic will be held from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Spartanburg County Public Library-Main Branch located at 151 S. Church St. in Spartanburg.
