The Senate Judiciary Committee, chaired by Sen. Larry Martin, met Tuesday.
Testimony was heard from James I. Warren of Greenville on his statewide appointment to the State Ethics Commission.
Sen. Shane Massey presented the Agency Oversight Subcommittee Report on the Children’s Trust Fund.

The Senate Finance Criminal Justice Subcommittee, chaired by Sen. Michael Fair, met Wednesday. The Judicial Department budget was presented by Chief Justice Jean Hoefer Toal.

The Senate Medical Affairs Subcommittee on Affordable Health Care Act met Thursday and testimony was heard on ACA but no bills were reported out.

Judiciary Subcommittee on S. 146, chaired by Sen. Paul Campbell, met Thursday.

Favorable Report:
S. 146 Department of Community and Institutional Corrections. Judge Byars of the Department of Corrections testified on the bill.
