S.C. Bar offers free legal clinics in Spartanburg area

COLUMBIA, S.C. (Feb. 16, 2012) — The S.C. Bar Pro Bono Program will sponsor eight free legal clinics in the Spartanburg area in March. The schedule is as follows:
 
· March 1 – End of life issues, including health care power of attorney, living wills, DNR orders and power of attorney, featuring attorney Judy A. Blackwell. The clinic will be held from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Spartanburg County Public Library-Main Branch located at 151 S. Church St. in Spartanburg.

· March 8 – Real estate issues and foreclosures, featuring attorney Matthew A. Henderson. The clinic will be held from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Landrum Branch Library located at 111 E. Asbury Dr. in Landrum.

· March 12 – Wills, estates and probate, featuring attorney Paul C. MacPhail. The clinic will be held from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Pacolet Branch Library located at 390 W. Main St. in Pacolet.
 
· March 13 - Wills, estates and probate, featuring attorney Stephen C. Wofford. The clinic will be held from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Chesnee Branch Library located at 100 Pickens Ave. in Chesnee.

· March 15 – Magistrate court issues, featuring the Hon. James B. Paslay. The clinic will be held from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Spartanburg County Public Library-Main Branch located at 151 S. Church St. in Spartanburg.
 
· March 19 - End of life issues, including health care power of attorney, living wills, DNR orders and power of attorney, featuring attorney Reginald L. Foster. The clinic will be held from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Inman Branch Library located at 50 Mill St. in Inman.

· March 20 – Wills, estates and probate, featuring attorney Judy A. Blackwell. The clinic will be held from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Westside Branch Library located at 528 Oak Grove Rd. in Spartanburg.
 
· March 27 – End of life issues, including health care power of attorney, living wills, DNR orders and power of attorney, featuring attorney S. Frank Adams. The clinic will be held from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Boiling Springs Branch Library located at 871 Double Bridge Rd. in Boiling Springs.
