S.C. Bar offers free legal clinics in the Charleston area

COLUMBIA, S.C. (Aug. 8, 2011) — The S.C. Bar Pro Bono Program will sponsor three free legal clinics in the Charleston area in September. The schedule is as follows:
· Sept. 1 – Family law (separation, divorce and custody), featuring attorney David F. Aylor. The clinic will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Charleston County Public Library located at 68 Calhoun St. in Charleston.
· Sept. 8 – Wills, estates and probate, featuring the Hon. Mary Q. Blunt. The clinic will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Dorchester County Public Library located at 506 N. Parler Ave. in St. George.
· Sept. 20 – End of life issues, health care power of attorney, living wills, DNR orders and power of attorney, featuring attorney Robin Grossman Poliakoff. The clinic will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Lowcountry Senior Center located at 865 Riverland Dr. in Charleston.
