Expungements resource online
With the assistance and cooperation of S.C. Court Administration, the Bar Task Force on Expungements has developed a web-based document that contains frequently asked questions and a directory of expungement coordinators by judicial circuit. This resource is designed to allow citizens to learn about and take advantage of the process set up by the General Assembly to expunge or remove criminal convictions meeting certain statutory requirements. The task force is examining the feasibility of developing a uniform expungement application for all judicial circuits statewide.
