Wando High School named runner-up in Battle of the Carolinas
Congratulations to Team 2 from Wando High School in Mt. Pleasant, which won second place in the inaugural We the People: The Citizen and the Constitution Battle of the Carolinas competition on Friday, March 30, at the Charlotte School of Law. Participating students included Reynolds Adams, Tanner Croft, Rachael Cunninghamd, Sanders Dargan, Zachary Fogleman, Chelsea Frasier, Zachary Glusman, Isabel Harper, Justin Henline, Paige Jellison, Adam Johnston, Patricia Jokl, Jack Meagher, Emma Miller, Savannah Miller, Dalton Mills, Nike Pappas, Amie Parris, Miranda Rodriguez, Nicholas Sottile, Michael Spires, Rebecca Sydow, Ayden Tarrant-Willis, Kimberly Varadi and Layne Walker. The team was led by instructor Misty LeClerc.Thank you to all of the volunteers who helpd make this competition a success. New products were announced, attendance was up and the exhibitor hall was sold out, hinting at a possible economic recovery in the works.
