Rule change withdrawn from submission to the General Assembly
The following rule change was originally submitted to the S.C. General Assembly on January 27, but later withdrawn: An order amending Rules 6, 7, 56 and 59 of the S.C. Rules of Civil Procedure and Rules 2 and 21 of the S.C. Rules of Family Court. For more information, visit the

Young Lawyers campaign continues
The Bar Foundation and the Young Lawyers Division are continuing efforts via the Each One Reach One campaign --
check out the list of supporters as of March! Join young lawyers who have pledged $25 a month for 12 months. At the end of the campaign, the Foundation will give 25 percent of all proceeds to YLD for equal distribution among Sistercare, Sexual Trauma Services of the Midlands, Special Olympics and The Cooperative Ministry. The campaign not only helps the Foundation, but also allows YLD to support some of its favorite charities on a larger level. The Foundation now accepts MasterCard/Visa, and contributions can be made incrementally or all at one time. Your Bar Foundation is the only statewide entity that funds the advancement of justice by improving access, education and accountability. To participate, please contact Shannon Willis Scruggs
