PMAP Tech Tip
Controlling the information about you that circulates on the Internet can be difficult. Lawyers should always be mindful of what might surface when a potential client or employer searches their names. One problem you may come across when removing information about yourself from the Internet is tracking down old accounts and deleting them. Just Delete Me is a site that provides you with direct links to do just that; learn more on its website. Contact PMAP for free assistance with your law practice at email@example.com.
Attorney search now available
The public may now search for information regarding licensed S.C. attorneys on the Judicial Department's website. The public can search for an attorney by first, middle or last name, or any combination. The search will display the attorney's contact information, S.C. Bar number, S.C. Bar membership class and status, and other relevant information. The Bar's website will continue to have attorney search capability by name, city, state, zip code and county.
