What do you get when powerful teaching on Insurance Bad Faith, Ethics and Attorney Mental Health/Substance Abuse are combined? That’s right - an exhilarating halfday seminar, “Text, Drugs and Rock ‘n Roll”.
Course Planner Warren Moise designed this end-of-year CLE program for those with a love for music, knowledge and credits! By attending, you will earn all required annual ethics and substance abuse/mental health hours and bad-faith insurance discussion in one seminar! There’s more… Test your rock ‘n roll knowledge in the trivia portion, winners will receive CDs by South Carolina Bar members, including other valuable prizes! Registrants will receive a copy of Moise’s brand new book - Beyond the Bar: Greatest Hits - that is a compendium of his practical and pithy S.C. Lawyer article by the same name. The CLE will begin the discussion on current issues in bad-faith insurance litigation with Moise for the plaintiff and Mike Bowers for the defense. Thomas Pendarvis will cover hot ethics topics and analyze recent rulings, with an update on current issues in social media. To conclude, Lisa Holland, PhD will explore attorney mental health issues and provide tools for living, working and thriving in the stressful world of law practice.
So dust off your old Rolling Stone Magazines and come prepared to have some fun while learning in the process. (Now, who was it that played lead guitar for the Yardbirds?)
AGENDA - Times will be adjusted to fit new schedule once speakers are confirmed.
