About the Seminar
This program qualifies for 6.5 MCLE credit hours, including 1.25 LEPR credit hours.
Attorneys attending this marketing boot camp will hear from a panel of attorneys in various size firms who have successfully established and grown their practice through conscious marketing efforts. These South Carolina attorneys will discuss their marketing approaches with an emphasis on what works and what doesn’t and why. Following the panel discussion, Barbara Seymour, Office of Disciplinary Counsel, will discuss ethical marketing of your practice.
The afternoon will kick off with a lively discussion of the use of social media in marketing your practice. Jeff Manning, Director of Marketing for the SC Bar will lead this discussion and provide insight into the options and use of social media to market your practice. The next session is design to help all attorneys develop customized “elevator pitches” suitable for any situation.
The remainder of the workshop will be devoted to the development of individual marketing action plans (IMAPs). This session will be interactive and is designed so that attorneys will start to develop their customized IMAP during the session. All participants will also receive a complimentary follow up coaching session with Brenda Stewart to continue the development of their IMAPs.
This unique program is designed for all attorneys whether you work in a firm or practice on your own! Not just another “talking head CLE,” you will take away practical and powerful tools to build your practice intentionally, ethically and with a view toward long-term success!
