About the Seminar
This program qualifies for 6.0 MCLE credit hours, 6.0 JCLE credit hours, 1.0 LEPR credit hour and 6.0 Bankruptcy and Debtor-Creditor Law Specialization credit hours.

Course Planner Judge Cynthia Howe has selected an entertaining faculty who will cover such topics as tips on effective order writing, deed preparation, collecting judgments and supplemental proceedings. Ian McVey will explain what you can expect and what’s allowed in the period after the 5% bidder’s deposit is paid yet before a Master’s Deed is issued. There will also be an update on Partitions and a fascinating discussion by Chad Burgess and SLED Special Agent in Charge Michael Prodan on how to deal with self-represented litigants. Judge Jimmy Spence will present an entertaining and powerful look at foreclosure ethics, and Professor Steve Spitz will give us his annual Equity Case Law Update.

As in past years, the seminar is a mandatory JCLE for South Carolina’s Equity Bench, so if you practice in Equity Court, this is a program you won’t want to miss!
