About the Seminar

This program qualifies for 6.0 MCLE credit hours, including 1.0 LEPR credit hour.

The South Carolina Bar CLE Division and the South Carolina Bar Workers’ Compensation Law Section are again pleased to present our annual Workers’ Compensation Law Seminar. This year’s program promises to be one of our most important and powerful ever, and features a stellar faculty of experienced attorneys, Worker’s Compensation Commissioners and key staff.

Course Planners Alan Bass and Allison Carter have designed this seminar to provide updates on key areas of Workers’ Compensation practice, including commuted value, repetitive trauma, brain injury, as well as a comprehensive case law update, a roundtable discussion, and an administrative overview of mediation in the Workers’ Comp arena, and our popular annual State of the Commission and “Ask the Commissioners” segments. Finally, Professor John Freeman will discuss “Civility and Integrity in the Administrative Process” so that all attendees can get an hour or LEPR credit.

This important seminar presents not only a terrific opportunity to learn from some of South Carolina’s leading practitioners and Commissioners, but it also offers an opportunity to network with your friends and colleagues!
