This  year's symposium will cover the following topics: The Impact of the  Presidential Election on Health Care, Legal Trends in Hospital  Credentialing, The Changing Environment for the Hospital Employed  Physician, among much more.\n\nWe encourage you to use the links to the left for more information about the event, speakers, and to download presentations.\n\nContinuing Legal Education (CLE)\nThis course has been approved for 6 CLE credit hours. Course #130243\n\nContinuing Medical Education (CME)\nThe South Carolina Medical Association (SCMA) designates this  educational activity for a maximum of 6 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.  Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of  their participation in the activity.\n\nThe SCMA is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing  Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for  physicians.\n\nTo be compliant with the AMA’s “Physician’s Recognition Award and Credit System,1”  we require physicians to attest to the amount of time they are claiming  credit – which should be commensurate with the extent of time they  participate in a CME activity.
